This is an example of research necessary to reach Nick Ross’s mentioned aim of reducing rape and crime. We can not reach that by, Instead, doing more of the old same: making a causative connection between rape and women’s free behaviour, as he did. One step forward and 10 backwards.
via The GIs who raped France: We know about the mass rape of German women by Stalin’s soldiers. Now a new book reveals American troops committed thousands of rapes on French women they were liberating | Mail Online.
For instance: “I don’t believe a word of it. Just the ramblings of angry bitter individuals. Did rapes occur? Yes, I am sure they did but not near the numbers as the author claims. Did sex happen? Yes it did. France was occupied for years. French women did not see chocolate, coffee and real cigarettes for years and would not for some time to come. The GI’s had lots of it. French women had nothing to offer in exchange but one thing. For the French women, it would not look good if caught exchanging her goods for their goods. So they would claim rape to save face.

So any time that people are going to study these problems — it’s all the rambling of angry bitter individuals?
“Did sex happen?Yes.France was occupied 4 years. French women didn’t see chocolate coffee &cigarettes for years & wouldn’t for some time. The GI’s had lots of it. French women had nothing to offer in exchange but 1 thing. it would not look good if caught exchanging her goods for theirs. So they would claim rape.”
We know from daily experience how worried stressed women are dying for sex, right? so those starving and devastated by war, were absolutely dying 4 urgent sex with any unknown soldier!??
How do you know they “sold themselves” for cigarettes ? To see people starving & devastated & force them to “give” sex in return for basic needs!… How’s that ? — that too is rape and far from any “liberation”. It’s horrendous. & to make them on top to look cheap makes you worst, I think.
